RECORDS FROM TORRE ORSAIA ( SALERNO, ITALY) GAP FROM 1848 TO 1860

There is a gap in Torre Orsaia's (Salerno, Italy) records from 1848 to 1860 but the books of those years DO EXIST at the local comune because I did see them. It seems as the copies at the State Archive of Salerno are lost but they are still in the local comunal archive. I wonder if it will be possible to photograph them in a close future.
