What is the source for adding M2WK-4NM?

On April 20, 2012, FamilySearch added a record for Levi Roscoe, M2WK-4NM, but whoever added the record did not attach a source. I cannot find any records with Levi Roscoe's birth date. Where did his name come from?

I have run into this problem before, someone at FamilySearch adds records but does not include a source. Why do they do that?

    Furthermore ...

    For the individual/person Levi ROSCOE ( M2WK-4NM ) ...

'FamilySearch' DID NOT "Create" that individual/person ...

The User/Patron, with the "Contact Name" of 'charlotte/o'donnell1311178', was most likely responsible, for the appearance, this individual/person, in the ONE of the predecessor(s), of "Family Tree", of 'FamilySearch', all those years ago.

    I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...

[ And, I happen to be a Member of the Church ... ]

    Just in passing ...

Just so that you are aware ...

    On the contrary ...

'FamilySearch', DID NOT, 'per se', ADD those individuals/persons .

Those individuals/persons, CAME from, the predecessor, to "Family Tree"; being, "New.FamilySearch".

[ Plus, even, ALL the, Physical; and, "Paper", Systems, in place, PRIOR, to "New.FamilySearch" ... ]

    Plus ...

"Sources", where NOT required ... way back then ...

    Now ...

    That Said ...

MOST of that WORK, came from the Genealogies/Family Histories, of Members of the Church, from ALL around the World, for almost 188 Years, now.

There is a lot of work to do ...

Especially, to "Merge"/"Combine", ALL the MANY "Duplicates".

    Just my thoughts.

I did not know that the records came from the previous version of FamilySearch. Frustrating at times when the records don't have a source.

The original person who created the records was Charlotte O'Donnell, my mother. LOL.

I have since found her sources.

    Thanks for the reply.
