Hello @David G Fletcher thanks for posting in Community today. I am unsure what you mean though. Would you mind expanding on your question please, then perhaps we can provide a satisfactory reply?

I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...
Just in passing ...
Short Answer: 'No'.
The ONLY things, that I was really able to uncovered were:
A "Knowledge Article", in 'FamilySearch":
How do I add a life sketch, vitals, and other information to Family Tree?
Where, it states among other things:
Quote
------------------
- The life sketch is a story of the person's life. It can have up to 10,000 characters. To enter a life sketch, you must use the Family Tree on the FamilySearch.org website.
- We recommend that you type your life sketch into a word processing document first, then copy it into Family Tree. Otherwise your session may time out, and you may lose your work.
------------------
And ...
In the 'FamilySearch' "Blog":
A very 'Dated' (30 December 2014) Article; where, the Two (x2) included "Links", NO LONGER work ...
Creating a Life Sketch in Family Tree

So ...
That Said ...
Again ... 'No' ... NOTHING really NEW ...
Sorry ...
I know, that this certainly may/does not help/assist.

Dear Brett,
Thank you for your comments.
You found the same articles as I had found.
Originally there was a fuller article that gave a formulaic approach that formed a good barrier against mis-use/incorrect changing of the vital/genealogical information. It cannot now be found. It was a great help for teaching purposes and a good beginners introduction to writing basic family history.
Thank you for taking time to try and find the information.
