My living family has two relationships for both my husband and I.

It looks like you have duplicate relationships for your children. You can easily delete any duplicate relationship. Where you have a child, listed with both parents, and listed again with only one parent, go to that child, listed with only one parent. Click the little pencil in the box for that child. On the next screen, click way at the bottom, on Delete Parent-Child Relationship, and for the reason, you can say something like, Duplicate Relationship, child to mother, or father. Do that for each child.

@jlwestra I believe the posted indicated all people are living. Dana talks about "my view" and "his view", which I interpret as her husband's view. Records of living people cannot be seen by anyone other than the person who created them. Thus, the husband's view of the family will be completely different IDs than the wife's view and both will only see who they created. Information uploaded by one about a child will not be seen by the other. The solution for @Dana Clark immediate issue is to create her husband's record herself, but the bigger issue is for her and her husband to understand there will be no collaboration between on the records of living people.
Both @Dana Clark and her husband need to make sure they connect to the same deceased ancestors and collaborate on that. Please correct me if I was wrong in the interpretation.

I need to merge or eliminate a second live "family" attached to me.
