How long does the link for recording studios video work?
We are extremely fortunate and have a recording studio in our center. The ones that connect directly to FamilySearch and save the audio portion to Memories. My question applies to the link that is received via text for the view/download of the video. I would doubt that FamilySearch saves these videos indefinitely, however, I can't find anything indicating just how long they are available before being deleted. I would like to know so I can share that information with patrons using our recording studio.

This link above might help you. Also as far as I can find out all audio files are saved indefinitely.
Audio recordings are some of the most precious memories you can have. A recording of a relative’s voice is invaluable. Upload it to Family Search so that you can share it with other relatives and so that you always have a backup.

@maureenmarydawson1 That applies to the audio files one uploads on their own. So yes they would be saved indefinitely.
Our center has one of the new recording studios with the video/audio recording. The audio version can be uploaded directly to familysearch.
My question relates to the video version of the recording. When finished with the recording, there is an option to have a link sent to you via text. What I want to know is how long does familysearch save that video....

As far as i know we do not save vidoes yet but we are looking into it.

@PMLynch I know the videos are saved- the question is for how long. I will get a link to download the video within seconds of texting the number to FamilySearch. We have a recording studio put in by FamilySearch with the camera and lights.
The video I did on 20 Feb 2020 does not show as available to download when I click on the link. But the one I did November 30, 2020 still shows as a download option. So that's at least three months....
It would be nice to know for sure so the information could be shared with patrons using our center.
