How to I navigate to find the attached probate file? I am new.
Will of Thirstan Rayner, Southton, Yorkeshire, Long Island, America.
To my son Joseph: twenty-eight acres of land from the town aforesaid [Southton], “which twenty eight acres is already layd out to his own proporc[i]on.”
To my son Jonathan: one half of my housing and lands remaining, at his age of 21, a two-year old mare, and a two-year old heifer.
To my wife Martha the other half of my housing and lands during her life. After her decease, the same to my son Jonathan.
My household goods and moveables to my wife.
If my estate of cow kine, sheep, and horse kine (at my decease) amounts to fourscore pounds or under that value, it shall be equally divided between my wife and my son Jonathan. He shall have his portion when his mother sees fit, or when he is 21.
If my estate of the above creatures amount to it, ten pounds apiece to my other five children [not named].
My wife to be sole executrix.
My brother Samuell Clark and my cousin Mr. John Howell to be overseers.
