Retention of signing in information.
I am echoing a problem myself and others have had with the sign in prompt. As presently constituted my sign in process is not retained for the 2 weeks as stated and I have to re-sign in if I go out of the site. I am using the updated chrome and I have been told by one of the assistants that chrome tends to not allow the information to be retained. It becomes a pesky inconvenience with the system. I hope that IT will address this issue.

Welcome to the "Community.FamilySearch" Forum.
I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...
Just in passing ...
I principally use, the "Browser", of 'Google" "Chrome"; and,
also use, 'Mozilla' "FireFox"; and,
occasionally, use, 'Microsoft' "Edge".
ALL, with the "Operating System", of "Windows 10"; and,
ALL, with the LATEST "Versions", of each.
And ...
That Said ...
Unlike you (and, those others) ...
I am NOT, have ANY problems/issues, with regard to the "Keep me signed in for 2 weeks".
As, such is working just fine.
As such ...
IF, you have not already; THEN ...
An "Oldie"; but, often, STILL a "Goodie" ...
[ That, more often than not, seems to work ... ]
Try "Clearing" the, "Cookies"; and, "Cache", of your "Browser" (and, may be even, the "Browsing History") ...
Then, try 'seeing' if that "Keep me signed in for 2 weeks" works.
Here are some "Knowledge Articles", in 'FamilySearch":
How do I delete cookies from FamilySearch?
https://www.familysearch.org/en/help/helpcenter/article/how-do-i-delete-cookies-from-familysearch
How do I delete all of the cookies and temporary files stored by my internet browser?
How do I set my cookie preferences?
https://www.familysearch.org/en/help/helpcenter/article/how-do-i-set-my-cookie-preferences
Now ...
That Said ...
I am sure that your aware ...
But ...
Just to be certain ...
When one 'activates', the "Keep me signed in for 2 weeks", one should NOT, "Sign Out", of 'FamilySearch', when one has finished for the day/night - one should just/simply "Close" the (any) "Browser(s)", that one is using.
Because ...
IF, one actually "Signs Out", of 'FamilySearch'; THEN, one is actually "Cancelling", the "Keep me signed in for 2 weeks", that was previous set (and, as such, the "Keep me signed in for 2 weeks", needs, to be re-set again).
Just my thoughts.
Good Luck
I hope, that this may help/assist, somewhat.
