Is it possible to retrieve a particular Trieste to Buenos Aires passenger list?
I wonder if anyone can help.
One of my ancestors was on the SS Sofia from Trieste to Buenos Aires arriving 20 August 1925. I got this information from an Argentinian Government website at www.Cemla.com
The base records for these arrivals are apparently, held by FamilySearch at Salt Lake City and are supposed to be indexed and viewable at https://www.familysearch.org/search/catalog/2700611?availability=Family%20History%20Library
The trouble is that the particular voyage that I am looking for is not indexed and viewable. Family Search has the outgoing passenger lists for the month in question, not the incoming passenger lists. I've asked Cemla about this but got no reply.
Is It possible to view the incoming passenger list for this voyage?
Many thanks!

I cannot see anything on the microfilm link above which indicates the microfilms have been indexed.
Looking at a sample digitised microfilm on the catalog link posted above the note on the images says
"This image courtesy of Archivo General de la Nacion de Argentina. Archivo General de la Nacion de Argentina
Archivo General de la Nacion Leandro N. Alem 243 C1002ABC Ciudad Autonoma de Buenos Aires, Argentina https://www.argentina.gob.ar/interior/archivo-general-de-la-nacion."
It therefore appears that FamilySearch did not film these records, and if the records you seek are not listed in the FS catalog record, for any queries you need to contact Archivo General de la Nacion de Argentina. If the website you quoted www.Cemla.com is connected with Archivo General de la Nacion de Argentina, there is probably not much else you can do.
