    FindMyPast has said that no-one is exempt from having to pay-per-view to access the 1921 Census. Subscribers (and I guess this would include people with free accounts, including members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints) get a 10% discount. Public library accounts do not have access. The only exception are at 3 libraries in the UK, located in London, Manchester and Cardiff.

    FMP has said that their contract with the UK National Archives (TNA) allows them to continue these arrangements for up to 3 years.

    @Chris Clayton

    Chris

    I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...

    [ And, I happen to be a Member of the Church ... ]

    Just in passing ...

    Short Answer: 'No', unfortunately, most likely NOT, for maybe, at least, x3 Years.

    And, such, may NOT even, be available, through "Family History Centres" of the Church (nor, Affiliate Libraries), for the same period.

    As far as I am aware ...

    As, has mentioned/referenced, in recent previous posts, in this Forum ...

    The "National Archives of the United Kingdom", has a ("Commercial") "Contractual Agreement/Arrangement" in place, with "FindMyPast", giving exclusivity, to that Census, for up to x3 Years, in exchange for, "FindMyPast", both, "Paying for"; and, being "Responsible for", the "Digitising" and "Indexing", of that Census; which, gives "FindMyPast", up to x3 years, exclusive rights, to publish that Census.

    A "Commercial" expense, that "FindMyPast", will want to recoup.

    And, in any case ...

    Even with a "Paid"/"Subscription" Account, with "FaindMyPast", subscribers, HAVE to PAY, a FEE, of 90%, of the Normal rates, to access that Census (which is £2.50 for a Transcript of an "Index" record/entry of a Household; and, another, £3.50 for the "Image" of the record/entry).

    I could be wring; and, stand corrected, if I am.

    Just my thoughts.

    Brett
