I was looking at death records for Ballyshannon, Ireland. They are indexed as Ballyshannon, Kildare, when in fact that registration district of Ballyshannon covers parts of Donegal, Leitrim and Fermanagh.

I'm not sure why this has been moved to Indexing. The Indexing forum is to "ask about making historical records searchable online" before they are published via the Indexing process.

This post is about the ongoing problem of published records being incorrectly way-pointed or mis-labelled and not an indexing question.

Perhaps this should be moved back to Search or into General Questions or Family Tree.
