I can't find instructions on how to upload my family tree. Please help.

    Here is more information that could be helpful for you. If you need more information about GEDCOM files, go to the ? and choose the help center; then type GEDCOM into your search.

    Family Tree does not support importing or uploading information directly into the web-based application of FamilySearch.

    • You can upload data using a GEDCOM file, which allows you to add new information to Family Tree or update existing information. This is a manual process. 
    • You can indirectly upload data to FamilySearch Family Tree by using a third-party software application that is compatible with Family Tree. 

    For details on products, programs, services, and utilities that are compatible with Family Tree and conform to FamilySearch standards, visit the Solutions Gallery. This list of certified products includes personal data managers, specific function software, and mobile apps.
