You should index the page and mark the place names blank. You probably shouldn't index the date unless it is on your image.

Most pages don't have page numbers, so you can't be sure they're in a certain order. They probably are, but we don't know that. We'd be assuming that's the year if there are no page numbers on your image and the reference images to show they're from the same ledger. They don't have to have a place and date in order to index them. The Proj. Inst. say, "Index all tax records that have at least 1 name to index."

Peggy, after looking at the batch and the page I agree with @barbaragailsmith1 about not indexing the page number at the top. When looking at a shared batch we are unable to go back in the reference pages, but I think if you follow the field help directions you should be ok in indexing the rest of the page.

Peggy, is there any way you could provide the batch number so that you can get a more accurate answer? That number is the long number at the top of the batch page.
