Indexing Error for Hampshire County, VIrginia
All the people in the 1840 Census for Hampshire County, Virginia, have been mis-indexed to Hampshire County, Massachusetts. I've fixed a handful of names related to me, but as this census is 128 pages long, I'm hoping there is a method for the FamilySearch database administrators to perform a batch correction. (The record citation is correct, it is just the "Event Place" for the individuals have been mis-indexed.)
Similarly, all the individual indexed to the 1840 Census for Amity Twp, Berks County, Pennsylvania, are indexed to "amaly." Again, I'm hoping a batch correction at the administrator level fix this. (And again, the record citation is correct, it is just the "Event Place (original)" lists "amaly" and the location listed on the search page is a generic "United States.")
Thanks! Andy Clower

This appears to be another one for place name correction.

@AndrewClower Please provide us with a URL showing the errors. Then we can get it added to the list of similar issues for engineers to work on. Thank you.

Here is a URL that will get you to the Hampshire County, MA (but really, VA): https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:33S7-9YBM-Q9B?cc=1786457.
And here is a URL that will take you to the Amity, Berks, PA records: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:33S7-9YBS-VF5?cc=1786457
Thanks!
Cheers, Andy
