I recently discovered that one particular cousin was juggling 2 families. I need to replace the mother's identity with some of the children. Is there a way to do this without a lot of confusion?

We hope we understand your question correctly. This article will help you replace the mother for some of the children in a family.

    https://www.familysearch.org/en/help/helpcenter/article/how-do-i-correct-parent-child-relationships-in-family-tree

The article states, "If the children are right but one or both parents are wrong, you must remove or replace the incorrect parent."

The article gives easy to follow step-by-step instructions for either removing or replacing a parent.

    We hope this helps.
