How do I remove two individuals from my family tree?

Good morning,

I am completely out of options while trying to remove two people attached to my family tree as my great grandparents. While the records are similar to my relatives, who lived in the same small town, they are not them. For some reason, I keep getting an error message, "unable to remove these records' because they were attached by another individual. I have tried to add my actual grandparents and while they do appear branching off to another area, I still can't remove the incorrect individuals.

If anyone can help me with this issue, I would greatly appreciate it!
