I 'm reviewing military records where dates entered, but no date's listed on the batch. Delete it?

What do I do if the first indexer entered dates from a military record when no dates appeared on the document? Do I delete them or assume that the indexer had more information on a previous batch for the same military group?

For this project you are allowed to check the reference images to find the dates for the roster you are working on.

I assume that is where the date came from.

check the reference images by clicking on the last icon on the vertical tool bar.
