We are planning to adopt an indexing project for a large group's indexing challenge starting in two months, is it possible to coordinate for a future project or are we limited to only what is available at the time the indexing challenge begins?

Answer: you can adopt a project that is currently available.

    Jeff

    Welcome to the "Community.FamilySearch" Forum.

    I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...

    As an aside ...

    PLEASE; Please; please ...

DO NOT make the "Event", a "Challenge"; and/or, "Competition" ...

IF, you like; THEN, call it a "Get-Together" ...

    [ or, the like ... ]

    But ...

    NOT, a "Challenge"; and/or, "Competition" ...

    "Indexing" is about "QUALITY".

"Indexing" is NOT about "Quantity" ...

We NEED good QUALITY "Indexing" ...

Regardless, of what many, may consider ...

"Challenges"; and/or, "Competitions", in "Indexing", ONLY promote POOR "Quality" Indexing ...

[ "Indexing" is NOT about, "Numbers"; or, "Statistics"; or, "Contributions" ... ]

    Instead ...

TEACH; and, TRAIN, all concerned, the IMPOTANCE of "Quality" Indexing.

I am sorry ... 'Off my Soap Box' ...

I hope, that you understand; where, I am coming from ...

I know, that this certainly does not help/assist; but, I hope, that this may provide you with, some additional, insight; and, perspective.

    Brett
