How to add info missing from a "closed collection"
I have found an ancestor in “a closed collection of family trees at My.Trees.com before 2020.” The file shows only 3 of the 7 children born to the ancestor and would like to add the information but am unfamiliar with “closed collections”. My alternative would be to re-enter all the information in an open collection but this seems to be a needless waste of effort. Can you please help?

It seems pretty self-evident to me that a closed collection is exactly that: closed to all modifications. Treat it the same way you would a printed book. Use it as a source of information when editing the FamilySearch Family Tree, your offline files, or whatever other open (editable) genealogy platform you use, but be aware that no static compilation is necessarily complete or fully accurate.
