Records indexed is different to my count as the church count ugh

From Jan. 3 to today, the 8th....I made a daily count as to the records indexed due to a ward challenge.

My count and the church's count were in harmony, but today, it's totally off.

I indexed 147 records. The website states 119.

This happened a year or two ago and the rep I spoke with on the phone then said they knew about the problem and were in the process of fixing it. They did fix it then.

Is it the same problem, does anyone know?

Thanks!

Records are often not counted immediately. They are not lost but they may not show up in the statistics for several days or sometimes even longer.

Sometimes the servers get bogged down with so many entries, especially on the weekends. Give it a few days to catch up.

Also, if there are duplicate names on the image you are indexing, they will be deleted on submission. So if you index three John Smith's in succession with no other different information like a spouse, or an initial for a middle name, 2 of the records will be deleted.
