M9G3-JXT Florence Barlow 1868

When I go to the latest changes on her person page and scroll to the bottom, I note that she was added to the tree by familysearch. Is there some proof that she belongs to this family? I can find no record and her mother dies at age 51 in 1871.

I find many Florence Barlow's who go many parts of the world and one who dies single in South Africa, but can not seem to tie her back to these parents she has been added to. Her temple work has been done by someone with no sources.

    I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...

    As an aside ...

Please be, advised; and, aware that ...

The "ChangeLog", is DECEIVING, in regard to individuals/persons, that were transferred, from the predecessor of 'Family Tree"; being, "New.FamilySearch".

IF, you have a 'look' at the "Gender", of Florence BARLOW ( M9G3-JXT ), on her "Person/Details" page/screen, you will notice, that she MAY have actually been "Created" by the User/Patron, 'fvcorpe931692', back pe.2012, a long time ago ...

    image.png

Or, in fact, possibly by another Use/Patron; as, we cannot be certain; as, you have "Changed" her "Details" in the "Vitals" Section, regarding her, "Name"; and, "Birth".

    Plus ...

As to whether or not she belongs in that particular Family ...

In fact, you actually added those Parents to her of, Father, John BARLOW ( LKK2-CKV ); and, Mother, Elizabeth BARNETT ( KC9S-W6L ), back on  9 June 2016.

    FYI

    Furthermore ...

In relation to your 'Question':  Is there some proof that she belongs to this family?

    Just in passing ...

In taking a 'look', in the 'On-line' Search facility, of the the 'Civil Registration' for "Birth", of the 'General Registry Office' ( GRO ) of 'England and Wales', for a Florence BARLOW (or variants thereof), in Nottinghamshire, between 1865 and 1875, only one in 1875, in the "Registration District" of "Basford"; where, the Mother's "Maiden" Name was BRUNT.

    So ...

    Short Answer: Possibly not.

I hope, that this may help/assist, somewhat.

    Brett

Just found this answer. Thank you. I will go back and check this out.

btw, the fvcorpe is my mother, so will try to see if she has a film number on the paper family group sheet.

    @Brett,

Thank you for your interest. I did find my mother's FGS and it is typed with all the temple work dates typed in but, I find the last child, Florence, abt 1868, Ratcliffe on Trent or Bingham RD is only penciled in.

I may have added her based on that, because the date of change 2012 was after my mother's death in 2007.

Could you check the Bingham registration district? I don't know where she got the idea that there was a Florence. If she is in our family, she may have died as an infant as I don't see her in 1871 census.

    Thanks for your interest.

    Gail

    Regarding, "Birth Registration" ...

I just had, a quick 'look', through both, (1) FreeBMD; and, (2) GRO (England & Wales), 'On-Line' ...

NOTHING ... for, a "Florence"; or, Variants thereof; or, (Just) "Female" (ie. NO 'Given' Name) ...

And, certainly, NOT, with the Mother's "Maiden" 'Family' Name' / 'Surname', of "Barnett" ...

    Just thinking out aloud ...

Question: What about, a Child; or, an "Illegitimate" Child, of one of the Children, of 'John' and "Elizabeth' ...

[ ie. A Grandchild of 'John' and "Elizabeth' ... ]

    Brett

ps: I when through, ALL, of England and Wales (ie. NOT just, Bingham; or, Nottingham; or Leicestershire) ...

pps: I could not find a related "Death" either ...

    .
