Bulk Download
Is there a way to do a bulk download of multiple records? It can be tedious to do it one at a time when many records are desired.

No there is not.
In addition FamilySearch monitors your account if downloading too many records in a given period and will 'throttle' your account correspondingly (there is a thread about 429 error).
The Help Center document:
So far I have never heard of anyone obtaining 'more access to downloads'.
What is your goal in multiple downloads? Are you analyzing multiple families from a certain location? Downloading to print? Perhaps if your goal is shared ... maybe there is another way to do what you want - not likely ... but maybe.

I am a full-time missionary in a FS library and we have a patron that is doing a monumental effort on a tree of ~77,000 people in a remote part of the world. He is finding many records in FS and it is tedious to get throttled. He would love to be able to do a bulk download; is there someone he can work with to get that accomplished?

Thank you for the help center article; it led us to the Record Linking Lab at BYU where he submitted a request for special data access.

If I understand correctly the patron it trying to source/document a tree of ~77,000 people? That definitely is a huge undertaking...
I am not really aware of a process by which to 'partner' or manage a family tree between multiple users within FamilySearch Family Tree - though it has been suggested in the past. Perhaps the newer Family Groups feature will develop into something more along those lines?
It certainly would be good to break such a large tree into smaller ones that could be assigned to various members of a group - but currently Family Tree is shared with the entire World (those that have a FamilySearch account). So if the patron is researching persons/records which he adds into Family Tree - that's a huge group that he is sharing the tree with (hopefully paths will cross and some can be helpful). Some third-party Tree Management Solutions - that are compatible with FamilySearch Family Tree are available:

I believe some have collaboration features - allowing management within a shared group. Some of these solutions also have 'batch' download/upload features which might provide 'a little bit more bandwidth' (not sure entirely because those features still use the patron's FamilySearch account - perhaps they just work within the throttle limits as well but schedule 'batch' processes). Otherwise we are individuals working on our 'solitary labors of love' - until added into Family Tree (then anyone in the world can see and add/change the information - both good and bad...).

He currently works only between RootsMagic and Ancestry, since that allows him to share all data as well as media (photos, images, etc.). He is only using FS to access the historical records. The eventual goal is to share the entire tree with FS, but he also has about 44,000 photos and images, and is not too excited about uploading those to FS one at a time. We hope someday there might be a way to share media with FS like other desktop software does with Ancestry, for example, RootsMagic and Family Tree Maker.

RootsMagic is FamilySearch Family Tree compatible:

Tree-syncing is mentioned - so I am not sure that it doesn't have some of these capabilities. Perhaps someone familiar here in Community can comment?
This video might be helpful:
Rootsmagic is mentioned but it doesn't really show the feature he said he was going to show (?).
Here is link to one of the latest videos on Rootsmagic 8:

Thank you for all your good suggestions. A few days ago I downloaded RootsMagic, watched several videos, and used it with a GEDCOM from Ancestry to synch and match with Family Tree. I have also been emailing RootsMagic support and confirmed that there is currently no way to transfer the media files into Family Tree Memories; they have to be downloaded and uploaded one at a time. They hope to pursue that in the future with FS, but there is no timetable to do that.
