Can the life summary on the discovery person page be changed?

I am helping a patron and the mother listed in the life summary is incorrect. I tried changing the person page, but it did not cause any changes in the life summary. I'm wondering if the life summary is updated when a change is made in the details for a person's life. If so, when is it updated? Or is the life summary never changed?

Yes, the discovery page's life summary should update based on changes to the profile page, but it can take several weeks.
