Hi!,

Sorry but I hate the new layout, Too much like the other family history sites that you can not find what you are looking for. Can you please advise me how to search for or find IGI films and their numbers.

    To search in just the IGI, go to Search - Genealogies, scroll down to the second stripe ("Explore one of our collections"), and click the greenish > button at the right until you see "International Genealogical Index (IGI)". Click "Search for a person" to go to the collection-specific search page: https://www.familysearch.org/search/genealogies/submission/5/MM4P-B7T.

    If you know the batch number or film number, you can go to Search - Records, click "More Options", scroll down, and click "+ Batch Number" or "+ Image Group Number (DGS) or Film Number" to restrict your search to that batch or film.

    Regarding batch numbers, the link below will take you to a website with details for the British Isles and North America. However, it was last updated in 2002 and users have reported receiving "no results" when searching on some of the listed numbers.
