I think I'm DONE.
First, let me say that I know you don't care, but I'm not going down without getting this off my chest.
For the umpteenth time, I just spent time adding information for a new person (prior to the auto search/match), and, apparently, I type too slow or get distracted or whatever...When I hit "NEXT", the webpage refreshes itself and I loose everything.
It has happened different days, different people, etc. Really, more times than I can count. This is a relatively new issue. It has been happening for about a month. There is no reason a webpage should refresh itself just because it has been idle for a moment. Might even be a Google issue, I don't care. I'm done.
For the last six months or so, I've been putting hours and hours of time into finding families for veterans in Find A Grave. On top of the hours and hours of research, there are the duplicates and data errors and presumed dead people, that most likely are NOT dead (reason this is correct? Age) most less than 60 years old). My hours and hours turn into days and days.
Just today, there was a couple with 16, yes, SIXTEEN entries for marriages. Not a single one of them was 'standardized', Does no one give a second look into the garbage they are putting in?
I know this is disjointed. It is late and I am so frustrated.
The bottom line is, I'm aggravated and just DONE.
HERE IS A VIETNAM KIA THAT NEEDS TO BE ADDED TO HIS FAMILY. I'M DONE, MAYBE SOMEONE ELSE WILL TAKE A SHOT.

Perhaps you are using an old browser version? I have seen people posting their issues, and someone indicates the browser version they are using is no longer combatable.

@retgijane I'm sorry you are having difficulty adding a son to the father's record. However, the obit on find a grave does leave out the fact that William's mother and father were not married at the time of his father's death. A different woman is named on the death certificate of Morton Harrison Blanchard. His mother, Helen Meeks has mixed results for her marriages in looking at FamilySearch and Ancestry. I am not interested in determining which set of parents and husbands she had. Would you like me to simply add William as a son to Morton Blanchard and a Helen Meeks? I would have to add a second marriage for Morton Harrison Blanchard, because right now it only shows his (presumably) second marriage to Dorine Parker. Let me know and I will do this.

That is not the point.
My point is, suddenly, every time I navigate to a page that has been idle for a few minutes, when I click on add or edit or save, etc., the page refreshes (without posting the update) and I lose whatever I had in the update field. This is a recent change to either your website or Google (FamilySearch is the only website it is happening on).
I'm not particularly computer savvy, but I haven't personally made any changes to the settings on my computer or Google, but I have lost several Suggest A New Place (a LOT of work there), and people I tried to add, but they aren't quite as much work.
I like to think I'm doing good work here. I certainly try to check and re-check the info I'm putting out there, but when I lose something like 'Suggest A New Place', after I've done the research and checked the GPS, it is beyond frustrating.
