Are they private people who you entered? That would be the reason you can see them.

I entered the ID and the name on searches and could not see any information. (No Results Found)

    Teresa

    Welcome to the "Community.FamilySearch" Forum.

    I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...

Hopefully, a "Moderator" [ ie. 'FamilySearch' "Support" ( Personnel ) ], will find your 'Question', here is the 'Category' of "General Questions"; and, take your post, into the workings of 'FamilySearch' "Support", to help/assist you.

Where, hopefully, your problem/issue, may be able, to be easily rectified.

    Just in passing ...

    And ...

    Just as an aside ...

Here are some "Knowledge Articles" in 'FamilySearch':

Why are deceased people in my Family Tree private space?

    https://www.familysearch.org/en/help/helpcenter/article/deceased-people-in-my-family-tree-private-space

    https://www.familysearch.org/en/help/helpcenter/article/deceased-people-in-my-family-tree-private-space

    Where it states:

    ------------------

In Family Tree, data administrators occasionally set a deceased person's record to confidential. The record then moves to the contributor's private space and is visible only to the user who added it. In Family Tree, you can identify a confidential person because the yellow banner contains the heading "Confidential Person."

Administrators mark records as confidential if the ability for the public to view the information could harm the contributor. We do not accept user requests to mark records as confidential.

    ------------------

    And ...

    Just for additional detail ...

Are the confidential people in my Family Tree private space ever made public?

    https://www.familysearch.org/en/help/helpcenter/article/are-the-confidential-people-in-my-family-tree-private-space-ever-made-public

I know, that this certainly does not help/assist; but, I hope, that this may provide you, with some additional, insight; and, perspective.

    Thank you Melissa and Brett.

I really hope an administrator picks up on this and gives a proper explanation ... it makes no logical sense as to why this record is on my private persons list - I did not originally add the record this was done by another user in 2011.

The person is "THE HUSBAND OF MY HUSBAND'S 3RD COUSIN FOUR TIMES REMOVED"

The persons life is very well documented in the public domain - as are the lives of many in his family and indeed in his wife's family.

    Thanks for the articles.

Hope your own research is progressing

    regards Teresa

    @Teresa Shean

    Teresa

    Just in passing ...

A few reasons WHY, an individual/person, may be marked as a "Confidential" Person ...

    (1) 'Place' of "Birth" - certain "Countries", evoke a 'Status', of "Restricted"

    (2) 'Place' of "Death" - again, certain "Countries", evoke a 'Status', of "Restricted"

In many of the aforementioned cases, once queried (and, checked-out), the 'Status' of "Confidential" Person, is more often than not, lifted/removed.

    (3) May be connected/linked to another "Confidential" Person.

    Just some thoughts.
