Help to locate Wills for Lancashire England ancestors.
The free website Lancashire Will Search gives British Film Numbers that enable searchers to access and download original wills of ancestors at Family History Centres. Maybe this could be somehow incorporated into your website.
I have found this to be an invaluable source of information.
For example I have found 7th great grandparents and 8th great grandparents.

I assume the Lancashire Will Search website lists films by number (with content details), as shown in the screenshot of an extract from the FamilySearch Catalog (detailing Lancashire probate records). From my public FS account, it appears there is restricted viewing to most / all of these films: researchers have to attend a FHC or affiliate library. If possible to implement, I still consider your suggestion would be of great help, especially as copies of wills direct from the Lancashire Record Office appear to be quite expensive.

FamilySearch currently has an arrangement with Durham University whereby there are direct links to the FamilySearch images from the index (of Durham wills) on the North East Inheritance database.
I'm sure it would be of great help if a similar arrangement could be made between Lancashire Will Search and FamilySearch - even if links created from the listed film numbers only led to the film in question, rather than the direct page.
