Hi! my name is Lujan - Argentina records
Hi! Who knows why there are no records from Argentina to index in Family Search USA? I live in Arizona and I used to download records from there to index but it has not been there for many months, does anyone know what happens?
For Argentines: Is it the same there? Do you have records from Argentina? Thank you.

I have the same question. I am looking to see if there is an index project for "Argentina, Cordoba Miscellaneous Records 1574-1925 which are image only. These records include Census' taken prior to 1869. I am willing to participate if there is a project.

There are many films and documents that have been digitized and uploaded but are not yet set up for indexing. At this point, we just have to wait and watch for our favorite types of projects to be listed for indexing and reviewing. In the meantime, it is always valuable to index projects which we might not be as invested in, but, we can pay it forward to help others find their ancestors.
Sometimes records are also only available for indexing by certain groups, or in their country of origin. For instance, due to contract negotiations, the Wisconsin records can only be indexed by church members. When the Covid lockdown hit Australia and New Zealand, those projects were limited to the IP addresses of their residents for indexing/reviewing. The same could be true for Argentina.

Hola.

Hello.
Right now there are a couple of open projects from Argentina. I was collaborating with the cemeteries and a while ago it seems that we finished it, although it is not published yet. Some of the civil registries of Salta, Entre Rios and Catamarca were left open.
Maybe you can investigate how to change the region, ip, or something similar.

Sometimes you can join an indexing group and get access to special projects. If you click on Find Groups on your indexing page and search on Argentina, there are 850 groups. IF they have adopted the projects, you might be able to access them that way. I'd start with a search of Argentina and the places that were mentioned in the above post.
