In the project instructions, under "Things to Remember", it tells you that if the marriage date is missing, if you can determine the year of the marriage from other dates such as the marriage license date; you can at least record the year.

    Hope this helps.

The field helps for Marriage Day/Month/Year provide the answer to your question!

If a marriage date was not indicated, type the date based on the following priority:

    1. License date
    2. Latest banns date
    3. Consent date
    4. Recording date
    5. Any date other than a birth date

If no date other than a birth date was recorded, press Ctrl+B to mark this field blank.

Field helps provide more instructions for each field. They are accessed by clicking on the purple question mark that appears when you click on a field.
