Family Search PLEASE make shared temple list separate from My Reservations List!
It is such a nightmare trying to print ordinance cards and has been for a long time now. (Never mind the cost of printing all of these cards). Today a friend called and said I got a temple appt for tomorrow for baptisms. Do you have any names. I'm like "YES" that would be great. One hour later, I am still trying to print them. Why do all of the shared names show up under "My Reservations"? No selection of sorting things will help either. If I click on "Perform Next" for example, it actually, tells me to print names that I have shared with the temple and another user has already reserved them last week!! Talk about duplicating temple work. I have shared over 1100 names so I can't even find my own. I can't use the NOT PRINTED sorting either as that does the same thing to me (tells me a shared name is good to go because it is not printed - but it's actually reserved by someone else after I shared It). Also, we have names that we have been working on before temple closed that say printed but they have to now be printed with each step because of the old system. So many things going on now and if you really want people to share all the names- PLEASE make them separate lists. We have called and emailed Family Search about this HUGE problem but it doesn't change.

- También puede contactar a la persona que tiene reservada su tarjeta para que la libere y poder trabajar en ella.

Your question has been moved to the category "Family Tree." You might consider reposting your suggestion under "Suggest An Idea" where it will be looked at by the engineers at FamilySearch.
Thank you

Things were kind of glitchy on the side yesterday. When I first read your post, I went to my temple page on Family Tree to test out some things and it would not load at all. As you look at these boards, you will see that several other people were have problems with various parts of the site. I assume either some major maintenance was going on or some servers were crashing or some part of the internet was having serious problems. As far I as can tell, things do seem better today.
As far as what you describe going wrong for you yesterday, I've never witness that kind of behavior before, particularly with the Perform Next filter. So I would be pretty confident that you were seeing an overall breakdown in some system. I hope when you try again this morning that things are back to normal.
