Help! My mother said that my great great grandmother Mary Buckingham came over to the USA from England on a ship but when she died her spouse said she was born in the USA because he was afraid they wouldn't bury her here so he lied. I can't seem to find records associating her on a ship but then I don't know if I am looking in the right place. Her husband at death was Charles Lake. She had a daughter Nellie May Lake (birth name) (my great grandmother). My grandmother is Bertha May Parker. (married name) Can anyone help me? I was told by my mother Virginia Jean Stage (Parker maiden name) that my great great grandmother Mary Buckinghams brothers were bishops in the castle. I was hoping to verify this for my mother.

Given this information, I find her on Family Tree: LH8P-Q75. Her profile has 16 historical records attached, and 7 more waiting to be attached. You might start work from there.
