How can I find immigration records of Nova Scotia

1850-1 my Great grandfather married, it said he was from Scotland where do I find those records?

    Hi Dana, you can find Scottish married records at the website www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk. There is a cost to have a look at the record but not to search. The information is very detailed. Having looked at a previous question the same as yours about immigration to Nova Scotia, the answer was to go to You might want to contact the Genealogical Association of Nova Scotia at: https://novascotiaancestors.ca/contact.php and see if they can help you. There is also Wiki found on Family search main page, search, Wiki, put in Nova Scotia immigration in the search box. Hope this helps.
