Proper reporting of dates in "Old Style" records for FHL computer indexing

Re: film 4034497, images 435 and 465. I was looking at the 1718 marriage record for William Robinson and Sarah Fitzwater in Philadelphia. The image (no. 465) shows the source had the marrriage date as: 10, 23, 1718. At the beginning of the marriage listings (image 435) there is a notation that the dates are "Old Style" dates. In other words, the Julian calendar, that was in use in 1718. I am by no means an expert in this area, but it my understanding that the 10th month "Old Style" calendar was December. However the FHL index extraction has the date as 23 October 1718. Was the index extracted data done correctly?
