Welcome to the "Community.FamilySearch" Forum.
I am just a 'lowly' User/Patron ...
Short Answer: Those "Record Hits" will NOT go away; UNLESS, you mark/indicate, that they are "Not A March".
FYI
IF, a "Record Hint", is NOT APPLICABLE, to the individual/person (and/or, Couple), for which it has been suggested; THEN, a User/Patron (ie. in this case yourself), MUST mark/indicate, that the particular "Record Hint", is "Not A Match".
There are Two (x2) specific "Options", regarding "Record Hints", either:
(1) Review and Attach; or
(2) Not A Match.
Of course, there is a THIRD 'Option" ...
Just leave it ... "As Is" ... for some else (ie. ANOTHER User/Patron) to decide ... do nothing ...
Now ...
That Said ...
IF, you have come to the conclusion and made the decision, that those aforementioned "Record Hints", DO NOT, apply to those aforementioned individuals/persons; THEN, simply, mark/indicate, that those "Record Hints" are "NOT A Match" - then, they will go away ... easy.
Just be aware ...
That the "Record Hints", that you mark/indicate; as, "Not A Match", will always REMAIN against the individual/person, for "Research Help", under "Dismissed Helps" (but, will not be easily 'seen'); so that, they CAN be "Resurrected" (especially, if you make a mistake; and, change you mind).
I hope this helps.

Well Brett, I appreciate your info. But these are hints that ARE applicable, they DO match. But they won't go away. I just encountered another 939K-QXJ. Do you know how to contact Family Search? they sure keep it a secret.

Brett and Everyone! I solved my prob. I got ahold of FS thru Chat...it turns out, if a hint won't go away, it is attached to another person, probably a DUPLICATE of your person. In other words, you need to combine them. This is what has happened on all 3 of my names.
The agent says there is THE FAMILY HISTORY GUIDE that I should check out and goes over all these problems.
He also said, for a complicated problem, to call (go to help, upper R. corner by our name, click on contact us, scroll down to phone number...). They can use a program called Team, also the viewer helping can "come to your computer and help".
