Sorry, I should have proof-read my question before posting it. Should have been 'find the'

It is difficult to answer since we can no longer see the reference images on share batches. The film has like 1800 images on it so that isn't a great way to find the image.

The date probably comes from the either the beginning page or the last page of the muster roll. So, is it on one of the previous five or next five images?

Melissa, There is no indication on this page as to the date. Am I just supposed to assume that the indexer had access to the page that had the date and leave the date as indexed?

@StewartEarlene1 As a reviewer you should be able to find a date on the reference images. It is only those who you have shared the batch with that can't see the reference images. (Moderators can, if one of them sees this post.) Anyway, click on the bottom icon on the vertical toolbar to bring up the references images and you will probably find the date on one of those images. We are allowed to use the date from the beginning or end of the muster roll.

The correct date is August 31, 1918 (last day of AugUst 1918). If you look at reference image -1 you will see the first page of the Monthly Roster, where you will find the date of that roster, including the page in your batch. Hat tip to @Melissa S Himes for showing me how to find such images.
