Multiple Users on a single computer
I note when you have multiple users of a single computer
and all/some of those users - use FamilySearch and FS Community on that computer
that you can often have cases of one user logging on to the FamilySearch (with there own user id) - but then traversing to the Community section - and end up being logged on to the community - under a different user id for a sperate user of that same computer - who had recently used it. (even when the current user clearly logged on as themselves (under the main FS log on) - simply that when they travered to Community - it picked up the last Community user session.
any others see issues like this?

If you use a computer in this way, then you *MUST* ensure that all cookies are cleared between sessions.
This will unfortunately have the side effect that all "keep me logged in" types of service will be logged out.
The alternative is that you use a browser that allows multiple profiles ( i.e. a different profile for each user )

My experience with this wasn't on FS, but my conclusion was that any website with a shared-login setup with another part of the site (where there are technically two sites with different logins, but it copies over from one to the other) has Serious Problems if more than one person uses the computer. Add the general "single-user" behavior of modern browsers, and it's no wonder we end up with spouses alternately credited with the same Community posts (which is a thread I recall from some time earlier this year).
You can get around some of it if each person uses a different browser, or a different browser profile on a browser that can do those.

yeh - seems others have the same issue
it didnt used to be this way
under the old community - if you changed your main FS logon - it automatically changed your community log on (the two were kept n sync)
Just seems like this is a serious flaw - that you would think can be programatically detected - and shouldn't exist - if the FS system is configured as it should be.
it should detect what user id is logged on to main FamilySearch - and FORCE that same user logon as you "cross the bridge" to FS Community.
This has been brought up numerous times - and no one seems to have taken action.

One person can actually submit a post that gets recorded as a different person (at least it seems that way)

'Yep' ... You are CORRECT ...
'FamilySearch'; and, this "Community.FamilySearch" Forum, are NOT, that well in "Synchronised" ...
Often, when I have been working for any length of time, in this Forum; and, go to 'FamilySearch', which is open in another 'Tab', I find, that I have to either, "Refresh"; or, "Log Back Into", 'FamilySearch'; as, the "Time-Out" has 'kicked-in'.
Whereas ...
When I am work in 'FamilySearch', for an extended period; and, go to the Forum, which is open in another 'Tab', I find, that I DO NOT have to worry; as, there was NO "Time-Out", still in there, not 'kicked-out', continue as normal (maybe need to "Refresh"; but, otherwise, all good).
On the other had ...
If we swap Users/Patrons (between, myself; or, Wife; or Kids) in 'FamilySearch', by "Logging Out"; and, "Logging In"; as, ANOTHER User/Patron, on the SAME "Computer", 'FamilySearch', is O.K.; but, the same CANNOT be said for the "Community.FamilySearch" Forum. More often that not, the previous Users/Patron, is STILL "Logged In", 'ready and raring to go' ... a real 'trap', for those unawares ...
Sometimes, we have multiple Users/Patrons, going in different "Browsers" (eg. "Chrome"; FireFox"; and, even, "Edge").
I have noticed, that on occasion, even when a NEW User/Patron "Logs In" to 'FamilySearch', a DIFFERENT "Browser" (even, when OTHERS have previously "Logged Out" of 'FamilySearch') on that "Browser", when that NEW User/Patron, goes to "Access" the "Community.FamilySearch" Forum, a/the "Previous" User/Patron, is automatically "Logged Into" back into the Forum.
Mind you, NOT on every occasion; but, quite a few.
And, I know the "Previous" User/Patron "Logged Out" of 'FamilySearch'; but, most likely, NOT specifically "Logged Out" of the "Community.FamilySearch" Forum, upon exit.
I am getting used to it.
Every now and then, I might miss it; but, not too often.
As an aside ...
It certainly would be good, if BOTH, 'FamilySearch'; and, the "Community.FamilySearch" Forum, were in "Synchronisation" enough; where, when you "Logged Out" of One, it AUTOMATICALLY "Logged (You) Out" of the Other.
I certainly was not aware, that such had been brought up/raised on numerous occasions.
I cannot remember, if I had never really noticed such, in the previous, "Versions"; or, "Platforms", of this "Community.FamilySearch" Forum.
It possibly has; but, I just cannot recall.
[ Maybe, why, no action has been taken ... ]
But ...
That Said ...
I have certainly noticed this in the current "Version" of the "Community.FamilySearch" Forum.
I was getting around to raising the matter; but, as, I was watchful of it, it was low on the priority list.
Just my few cents worth.

this was one of the very first concerns I brought to FS suuport - when the new community came into existence.

Thank you for the comments about the potential of having your Community posts attributed to another person when using a shared computer.
We know that this happens when individuals are working in a Family History Center that accommodates many individuals. We do get used to allowing a computer to enter our loggin information for us, and this practice contributes to having this type of problem.
It may be best to go to FamilySearch and then click the Help Center icon and the Community link to go to the Community Home page before you even try to sign into your account. You can pull up the Community Home page without being signed into FamilySearch. When you get to the Home page, the sign in button is there and you can then use your FamilySearch credentials to sign into your Community account.
I do this whenever I am using a shared computer whether at home with my family or with at a Family History Center or other public location like a Library. Using this process, I have never been signed into the Community as someone else even on a shared computer where others have "saved" their loggin information.
Perhaps I have just been lucky, but knowing that I can wait to sign into my account until I am on the Community Home Page has been very helpful for me.
