As to how to add them to Familysearch, in the Help Center you can use search term, memories, or use this link How do I upload memories to FamilySearch?
Keep in mind that Family Search protects the privacy of living people, but the option is offered on making these pictures public, if you choose to do so What are private memories?
As for changing the format of Family Search to one similar to Face Book, suggestions such as that need to be posted in our feedback option. How do I give feedback to FamilySearch?
