Reviewing: Birthdays are in the Baptismal Index fields/Baptism Dates Fields are Blank

Good morning!
Aren't these just some of the best records to index? I could do them all day. To answer your question, though, blank out the birthday data boxes and record this document dates in the baptism data boxes since the recorder did not make a note of the actual birthday.
In the instructions, they have a sample of a record that has both birthdays and baptisms. Here's the link so you can see what that might look like: https://www.familysearch.org/indexing/images?fs-cache=true&key=idx-deepzoom-image&image=f5afecea-521c-4105-8483-bb2bc1fee46b
So your record should look like this:
Have a great day!

@ Miss Jacquie,
Thank you for your help, though the link you provided goes into a sample image on how to index passport applications for people of Malta.
Thank you for providing the share batch information- it is great to see the image- Your batch has information of the child : When baptized only.
Please proceed to do Crtl+B to blank the entries of the Birth dates as it was not mentioned nor written on the document, and, and index the Baptism dates onto the entries that correspond to the baptism dates.
On the field help instructions are clear examples of how you would see the information when Born (birth dates)
Hope this answer your question. Thank you for your help on Indexing these records.

Hello,
Yes, I agree that the birth boxes should be marked "Blank" and the Baptism boxes filled in with the relevant information.
Looking at the field helps and the sample record "How to index a Baptism Register" in the project instructions, the child's surname should also be marked "blank" as you are not allowed to assume a surname from other names in the record. The instructions say if a surname is listed for the child, but not for the parents, use that surname for both parents - but it doesn't say the reverse in the Child's surname help box. The Sample has only the child's first name recorded, though a surname is given for both parents.
I hope this helps.
Hilary.

Hilary,
Great, correct, child without a surname besides his/her given names will not have a father's surname, we will Ctrl+B the entry for child surname.
Thank you for your input.
