Thought that Korean Indexing should be done by people who has deep understanding Korean language, culture, history, and additionally wide knowledge of Chinese characters.

I tried to find out Korean Projects without success.

Can I have any connection with Korean Indexing? 😀

    Hi!

It would be wonderful to have Korean projects to work on now. I don't know how FamilySearch gets access to all of the records we get to index. Sometimes organizations or governments ask for help. I did find this article:

    https://www.familysearch.org/en/help/helpcenter/article/can-i-make-an-indexing-request-for-records

I also found another article about Korean genealogy and family records. You may already have seen it:

    http://koreangenealogy.org/book/family-registries/family-records/

Even if there aren't indexing projects available, maybe there are people who would like help entering their family records into FamilySearch from someone who really understands the language. I recently helped some people in a class but got stuck when we were suddenly looking at Korean records.

Keep checking though. You never know when something will pop up!
