Daniel Throssell has wrong parents
I'm new here, I believe Daniel Throssell have been given parents Thomas Throssell & Elizabeth Eyte erroniously.
Please pass this on to Family Search management
In my originally sourced records, non taken from other family trees:
Thomas Throssell b ~ 1745 Oct 10 Benefield, Northamptonshire, England (RG6) & Elizabeth Throssell nee Eyte b ~ 1754 Jun 25 Benefield, Northamptonshire married 1776 Apr 21 at St Mary the Virgin, Benefield.
Their first offspring is Mary Ann Throssellb 1777 Jan
The child Daniel Throssell b 1774 Titchmarsh Northamptonshire, that is two years before Thomas & Elizabeth married
There is another earlier child Thomas b 1770 also attributed to Thomas & Elizabeth, I believe also erroniously, 6 years before their marriage when Elizabeth would have been 16, there is no mention of parental permission so unlikely
There seems to be no earlier marriage of either parent where the children would be included though taking in other close family offspring is not impossible.
However, I give you
John Throssell b 1743 Jan 29 Titchmarsh Northamptonshire

John & Rebekah could well be the parents of Thomas & I feel that Daniel needs to be firmly researched by wiser people than myself to correct the following in the family search related records. I could strike them off but I feel that the matter needs to be one of consensus, I would not wish anyone to meddle with my findings without substantiated argument and my agreement first.

Hello JohnThrossell1
Thank you for your concern. If you believe that the parents are incorrect, and you have documented proof, you can change or delete the incorrect parents. Go to Daniel Throssell's person page and scroll down to the parents. Find Daniel under the parents and click on the pencil to the right of his name. From there you can delete or change the parents. Please explaining your reasoning and attach sources for proof. Wish you the best!

In case it hasn't been made clear: the Family Tree on FamilySearch is an open-edit communal tree, and "Family Search management" basically never touches most of it. Staff deals with restricted (read-only, confidential, private) profiles and dead-to-living requests. Everything else is up to us, the users, and none of us "own" any part of the Tree. Anyone can edit anything, after logging in.
If you're unsure about a conclusion, you can start a Discussion or write a Note on the affected profile's Collaborate tab, or you can contact the previous contributor(s) to the profile by clicking the user's name next to a contribution. (You can find older contributions in the Change Log, accessed by clicking Show All under Latest Changes in the right-hand column of the Details page.)

Thanks Julia, that has been made clear. I have already had somebody move a link around on my tree and made a in law couple in my patrilineage, a most annoying thing that I had to correct back. I will take you up on the getting back to a previous contributer using the collaborative tab, that seems to cover, in part, what I was looking for, the other A long learning curve for us beginners.
Are we made aware of a dormant contributer during a collaborative request, to disregard waiting for a reply?
Regards John
