How do I index a muster roll date when there is none on the current page?

I am indexing Muster Rolls and Rosters. The continuing page I am indexing does not have a date, but if I bring up the reference pages, page 1 has the date and heading information. Should I use this date as the enlistment date?

Hi Beth. A potential helper can't look at the reference images from a Shared Batch anymore (needs to be fixed).
Yes, that page you're indexing is evidently (I can't look to verify) a continuation (i.e. part of) a muster roll that started a page or more previous to that one. If so, then that date at the top of page 1 may be used as the Military Date (not enlistment date) for all those soldiers on your page because none of them has an individual enlistment date listed.
Muster Roll or Roster dates are second in priority to the "gold standard" Military Date - the actual enlistment date - per the Field Help for all of the Military Date fields. That date at the top of page 1 is the date of the whole document, including your continuation page.

If the person who signed the document is not listed within the document, then delete that name. From the "What to Index" section of the Instructions:
- Do not index the name of the person preparing the record of monthly rolls and monthly rosters unless the person is also listed on the roster or roll itself.
