What if I do not wish to index Africa Files?
I used to index files many years ago from England, the US and others where indexing was in English. I want to start again but do not wish to do ones in countries I do not understand their indexing information. Is there no records to index in English?

There are a lot of English records to index. When you click on "Find Batches". On the left hand side toward the bottom is "Language". If it does not English in the box, click the down arrow and find english and click on it. Now click the "Search" button on the bottom left and it will pull batches in english.

When you click on Find Batches, check to see if you have Beginning and Intermediate checked under the Difficulty Section. Sometimes there are very few beginning projects available, but many of the intermediate projects are not difficult. Just be sure to read the Project Instructions and the Field Helps, which will guide you on how to index the records in that project.
If you load a batch from a project that appears to be too difficult, or you are not interested in indexing it, please return it. While in the batch, click on Batch above the toolbar, and then click on Return Batch.
