Hello @kennethsmith77
Thank you for using the Community and asking this question. In trying to locate a marriage record for a marriage between John Mason and Ann Harris in 1849 Ludlow, Shropshire England, we are able to locate a record of John Mason married to an Ann Harper. This causes us to wonder if you have the correct surname for your ancestor? We checked your family tree and did not see any sources connected to Ann Harris that woud prove this surname.

The General Register Office index has the 1868 birth registration of Mary Jane Mason at Walsall (Staffordshire) RD - showing the mother's maiden name as HARRIS. (Walsall Reg Dist includes Darlaston.) There is a birth registration at Walsall for Ann Maria Mason in 1864, but mother's maiden name is shown as SMITH.
However, an 1863 Darlaston baptism record for Ann Maria Mason is for the daughter of Edward and Ann (Smith?).
What evidence do you have for the 1849 marriage in Shropshire, if you can't find it in the records? The one found by @Dlog appears to be a reasonable match, but Ludlow is about 37 miles from Darlaston.

I have a marriage certificate 1885 for Mary Jane Mason, she got married in the north east to Robert Smith Huddart
her father was shown as John Mason.
Another one up here was Clara Mason b 1871 father John Mason Mother Ann Harris
Also Elizabeth Mason b 1875 father John Mason Mother Ann Harris
