Every time I see the location of Piedmont WV, it shows it to be in Mercer County. It is NOT in Mercer County. It is in MINERAL County WV. I beg you to make the correction and stop perpetuating an error. Thank you.

    @Norma Newbraugh

    I know nothing of West Virginia geography, but see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Piedmont,_Mercer_County,_West_Virginia. Does this mean there are two locations named Piedmont in WV?

    The first line at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Piedmont,_West_Virginia implies just that.

    Update - I just looked at the drop-down menu after I entered "Piedmont" in Family Tree. As illustrated below, both places are shown. If the incorrect one appears against your relative, choose the correct option. However, if you are finding this error in a FamilySearch source, see if you can edit the record: otherwise, you will have to add a note against it showing it has been indexed incorrectly.
