The information is legible and complete on the form but a marriage date has been written across the body....do I index the banns or the marriage or both?

Yes that is the Shared batch code, Angela. Thanks!

We have asked and been told to index the information added to the document using this guideline in Field Help, Marriage Year, bullet point 3:

"Index the date that the marriage actually took place. If the actual marriage date was not recorded, index the marriage date based on the following priority:

    1. Certificate date
    2. License date
    3. Application date
    4. Return date
    5. Latest (usually 3rd) banns date
    6. Date the marriage record was signed"

May we please have a Shared Batch code so we can look at it? The Shared batch code is at the end of the project name and is 7 numbers and letters in brackets. It starts with the letter 'M'.
