Once upon a time - anciently - at least 5 years ago FamilySearch had a series of short 5 min videos in the Learning Center on how to get started.

Do they still exist? I have a real need for them and can't find them anywhere.

Help. Any assistance is greatly appreciated. Thanks

    Hi Robert

Not sure where you have checked but this may be of help: https://www.familysearch.org/en/help/helpcenter/learning-center

Find it by clicking on the small question mark, then click on Help center

Or this link might also help: https://www.familysearch.org/gettingstarted/

Found by click on the small question mark in the top right of the FamilySearch screen and then click on third icon down getting started. You will need to sign in.

Lots of changes and updates have happened and we wish you all the best. You could also search You Tube and Google they may have the "Old/Ancient videos still :-)

Or yet another link is here found in FamilySearch Wiki

    All the very best

Again.... slightly different from what you are asking for, but a great resource nonetheless....

Kathryn Grant has been doing some really great Sunday classes for beginners starting out on FamilySearch.

Here is the link to both the actual presentations and handouts that accompany them which you may find very useful:

    https://fh.lib.byu.edu/2020/09/02/basic-class-materials/

    Hope this helps.

@Robert Givens I loved those little videos--good information with humor to keep it interesting while folks learned. I believe they were taken down some years back. I checked in the Learning Center and they are no longer there.

Thank you everyone. Yes, @N Tychonievich - I do miss those videos. They were great. I am trying to help our local missionaries who are going to launch a family history page on Facebook. They would have been perfect to use on that page. @genthusiast Thank you for the link to the Learning Center. With all I do at FamilySearch I had missed that one of the Help Center topics is Learning Center.

Between the Learning Center and the FamilySearch Youtube Channel I have found several good and short videos that the missionaries should be able to use.

    Thank you one and all!
