Just so I understand, when you are referring to a Family History Leader, are you talking about the leader of a Family History Center? If that is the case your Stake Clerk should be able to take care of that. If this is in regard to a Family History Center leader and a new one has been called the Stake Clerk needs to make sure that the new Family History Center leader's calling is listed as Stake Temple Family History Consultant - Family History Center. Then that new person will need to contact us so that we can update the information about the leadership of that Family History Center.
Please clarify if I have interpreted your question correctly. If so I can send you a private message for additional information that we need.
Hopefully this will help.
Your question will be forwarded to the Family History Center team for review and assistance. You may be contacted by that team if they need more information.

Charles, Once a person is released either the Stake or Ward Clerk can remove their names. Depending on if the calling is a Stake or Ward calling. If the person was the lead for the Family History Center then the new one needs to call us and we can complete the paper work to enter their information into the data base for Family History Centers.
