Merging duplicate records in a public and a private space

Family Search created a public record for my grand-uncle, Yehuda Motola M3YB-6MV in order to attach sealing records to his spouse in SLAKE 14 Dec 1993. I want to merge him to Juda Motola G8T4-V9P in my private space (private because he was born in a confidential country, Turkey).

I also need help attaching his other temple work completed in 1993 and 1994.

I have several hundred such confidential records that need to be located and merged into my Family Search tree. I keep requesting that someone qualified get in touch with me but I keep getting shifted to inexperienced volunteers whose responses are not visible, and the case gets dropped.

Please help me with this merge and get in touch with me so that we can work on other similar issues.

    Yes if one of the persons of the duplicate person is living and one is dead, then they can not be merged. If the person is still living then the one who is labeled deceased must be changed from dead to living by posting that information here and how you know that person is living. If the person is deceased then the person who is living the death notice needs to be posted here and forwarded to the proper department so that person can be properly put in as deceased. living and dead cannot be merged.

    There appears to be no suggestion that the problem relates to a living person, although perhaps Ed might confirm this is true, too.

    @genthusiast

    There have been previous discussions on the subject of such countries. I believe most of the Middle East and Egypt are part of this category and possibly Russia, too. I had problems after entering details of a relative who had died in Egypt (serving in WW2). Not sure whether there is an "official list" of these countries, but previous advice has been to be vague about the place of the event, if it might otherwise cause an individual to end-up in ones private space!

    Hello @Ed Motola

    To protect your privacy we will remove your personal information at the bottom of your original post. Since G8T4-V9P seems to be a confidential individual in your private tree we will need to send this to a specialty team to resolve the issue.

    @Ed Motola

    If you would like to have the ordinances show, please post those dates here and we will send this to a different specialty team.
