Why does the FamilySearch timeline for my grandpa show 4 "World Census" events?

The FamilySearch timeline for my grandpa shows 4 instances of "World Census," each with a map marker in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean.

The associated dates are 1930,1935, 1950, and 1955.

I seen no actual information associated with these supposed "World Census" events.

Why are these listed in my grandpa's timeline?
