How can I download record easily?
When I open a record to view an information banner appears over the top right of the record. I have discovered the download button is under this banner but there is no apparent way to remove it. It serves little purpose anyway so why not prevent it from showing at all? If it must be visible please move it somewhere where it does not cover the download button. Apart from this, I am slowly accepting the new look but it is not as intuitive as the previous version, making it more difficult to navigate. My next problem is how to send this message!!!

Could you help me understand what you mean when you say the download option is under the banner that appears when you click the View Details icon on a Record Results page?
When I go to that page, if there is an image, I always go to the image and use the download button at the upper right of the image to download the image. Can you provide details about how you are finding a download button from the record details?
Are you talking about downloading record results to a spread sheet from the right side of the results page by clicking Preferences for the results page?
The new Search function is such a new process, details about how you get to the download option you are using might be helpful to other users who are also learning about the new Search process and results page.
The following knowledge article from the FamilySearch Help Center explains how to download the images, which is what I personal prefer to do when they are available.
This additional article discusses exporting search results through the results preferences.
