new format
I have used (read: been FORCED to use) the new format. You have lost me as a subscriber. You profess to be a "faith" based organization yet you have committed a huge sin in launching this awful format. Be big enough to admit you made a gigantic error and go back to the format that actually worked and gave us access to family information.

I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...
Just in passing ...
And, you may have 'seen' my 'Comment' ...
In, at least, one (x1), of the two (x2) other "Related" posts, in which, you have also recently, commented on this matter ...
[ And, 'FamilySearch'; and, the "Family Tree" Part, of 'FamilySearch', is FREE ... to ALL ... ]
But ...
That Said ...
Just in case ...
In relation to, the "Changes" of, the NEW "Search Records"; and, the resulting "Results" page/screen ...
You are certainly not alone ...
We are ALL 'Struggling' ...
And, just in case you, were not aware ...
Here are some FOUR (x4) posts, in date (and, post) order of being posted, from someone, stating, to be part of the 'FamilySearch' Team that, 'Designed'; and, 'Developed", the the NEW "Results" page/screen, for "Search Records", which appears, in some of the posts, to give some "Instruction", on HOW to use the NEW "Results" page/screen, for "Search Records".

FamilySearch Employee Responding to Search Page Feedback
I hope, that some of the information in these posts, may offer some help/assistance.
And ...
There are OTHER posts throughout this Forum, where the instigator of the above posts has responded with, advice; direction; instruction; help/assistance, on the NEW "Results" page/screen, of "Records Search" ('FamilySearch').
Now ...
That Said ...
You may like to ADD, your thoughts/comments, in those particular posts; so that, your thoughts/comments, like those of MANY other UNHAPPY Users/Patrons, ARE 'seen', by the Team, in 'FamilySearch', that 'Designed'; and, 'Developed" the NEW look "Search".
As you can 'see' from those posts ...
DESPITE, all the NEGATIVE 'Feedback', with regard to the NEW "Results" page/screen, for "Search Records", from those that matter, the 'lowly' User/Patrons, where the NEW "Results" page/screen, for "Search Records", was 'foisted' upon them; BEFORE, being "Fully" released to ALL User/Patrons - 'FamilySearch' RELEASED the NEW "Results" page/screen, for "Search Records", to ALL Users/Patrons.
As I already suggested ...
You are not alone ...
We are ALL 'Struggling'; and, NEED "Help", with the NEW "Results" page/screen, for "Search Records", which is NOT very 'User Friendly'.
MOST Users/Patrons want the NEW "Results" page/screen, for "Search Records" to be "Reverted" BACK to the PREVIOUS "Results" page/screen, for "Search Records".
But ...
That Said ...
SADLY, I doubt that will happen ...
And ...
Finally ...
'FamilySearch' has made, MINOR "Changes", to the NEW "Search Records"; and, the resulting "Results" page/screen, hopefully such will keep occurring ...
I know, that this may NOT help/assist; but, I hope, that this gives you, some additional, insight; and, perspective.

Mod Note: Some off-post comments have been deleted.
Thank you, @Brett ., @Chas Howell, and @Paul W for your help.

Sorry that you feel the comments were "off-post". Perhaps you would be kind enough to understand how much upset this issue is causing and try to obtain a response from the interface developers, so such comments do not have to be made in future.
However constructive (or otherwise) the criticism is, our comments are just being ignored at present.

@Paul W - I apologize. I think you misunderstood. I deleted your post because it was responding to an off-topic post. I did not intend to stifle the conversation.

Its 'Brett'.
Just in passing ...
I 'saw' ALL those previous 'Comments', that have been "Removed", in the early Hours of this morning; before, I finally 'called it a night'.
And, that includes, the 'Comment' by the "Moderator" [ ie.'FamilySearch' "Support" ( Personnel ) ]; which, in fact, appeared (just) BEFORE my 'Comment', that you did not reference.
And, I have to agree with 'Paul' ...
I humbly suggest, that ALL those 'Comments', were NOT, "Off Topic" ...
[ In fact, far from that ... ]
And, I humbly suggest, that in all openness, that ALL those 'Comments' SHOULD be "Reinstated" ...
Sorry ...
Just my thoughts.
Brett
ps: As, per my previous reference, to stifling 'banter' ...

Agree, agree, agree - just scrap it all.
I've switched to Geneanet for the material I used FamilySearch for - pretty sad when you think that site is focused on Europe. Hopefully Ancestry won't decimate that site the way it has with other competitive company purchases.
I'd decided to simply ignore FS but still used the digital library - but as of this month, it's gone haywire too. I've sent a list of issues to the Digital Library address just now, but am not hopeful. Any vendor going live with such an inadequately tested program may not ever get it to work properly.
